Story
DKNY is first and foremost a very urban ready-to-wear line. For its designer, she “is to ready-to-wear what pizza is to food.” With her new fragrance, Donna Karan wanted to transmit her NY-inspired values. So the apple – symbol of the Big Apple – also represents the DKNY ready-to-wear collection: generous, full of life, accessible. Equally a fruit of the Garden of Eden, it stands for values like freedom, sensuality and innocence, everything that DKNY stands for. DKNY Be Delicious is born: from the concept to the packaging, via the juice, apples inspired this creation. An innocent, sexy, energetic and airy fragrance.

Description
DKNY Be Delicious is a typically fresh, American scent, straight from New York. A floral wrapped around a fruit, granting sophistication, passion, and a touch of provocation.The opening is sparklingly fresh, with unusual apple-, cucumber- and grapefruit-based accords. Magnolia offers a gentle transition towards the flowery heart that keeps the opening’s freshness while at the same time bringing depth; the woodsy drydown accentuates the scent’s sensuality.

Bottle
A perfume in New York’s image, whose bottle represents a big apple, of course. But not just any old apple. This apple is based on a sculpture done by Stephan, Donna Karan’s deceased husband. He had donated his work to the city of New York. A symbolically charged scent…
